FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Dave Hewitt
Born and raised in Essex, Dave started his home improvement journey as a decorator and carpenter when he was 21. He would be painting inside and out of prestigious buildings in central london, including Mr Sainsbury’s home. It was London where he was approached to fit a kitchen and discovered his passion for kitchens with his brother, this passion grew into genuine enthusiasm into creating beautifully fitted and functional kitchens that stand the test of time. In 1996 Alpha Interior Designs was born along with Darcy his daughter and now business partner. Over the years Alpha has grown and expanded its team passing on his knowledge from his experience and technical skills.
DIRECTOR & DESIGNER
Darcy Robertson-Hewitt
Darcy, Dave’s daughter, has always had a passion for interior design. Growing up, she accompanied her dad to appointments, gaining early insight into the process and absorbing as much experience as she could. From a young age, she began designing spaces like cafes, kitchens, and hotels using design software. After completing her university degree with honours, demonstrating her commitment to hard work, Darcy teamed up with Dave. Together, they collaborate with clients, the manufacturing team, and the installation team to create stunning designs that are not only beautiful but also highly functional.
Both Dave and Darcy share a genuine passion for cooking and designing innovative spaces. With a deep understanding of how kitchen layouts should be tailored to suit each individual’s needs, they offer honest, expert advice to help bring your dream kitchen to life.
MANUFACTURING TEAM
Marco & Max
Max and Marco are the skilled craftsmen dedicated to bringing your dream kitchen to life. We work closely with our manufacturing team, with our workshop conveniently located as an extension of our office and showroom. This means you’re welcome to visit our workshop during your visit. On average, we craft one kitchen per week, ensuring every cabinet is meticulously made and quality-checked for the highest standard.
INSTALLATION TEAM
Marc & Ian
Our experienced fitters, Marc and Ian, complete approximately 60 kitchen installations each year, always with exceptional attention to detail. No project is too large or too complex for them to handle. We collaborate closely with our fitters to ensure your kitchen is installed to the highest standards. After all, a kitchen is only as good as its installation, which is why we’ve trusted Marc and Ian with our projects for over 10 years.
