The Spokes Project
The Spokes family collaborated with us to create a kitchen that seamlessly blends stylish design with practicality. This space not only fosters a welcoming, social atmosphere but also maximizes functionality, incorporating hidden features and pull-out elements to make the most of every the space.
The large peninsula is where the family gathers in the evenings—whether it's for homework, preparing dinner after school, or simply enjoying quality time together. It’s a perfect balance of form and function, designed to support both daily tasks and cherished moments.
This kitchen features solid timber doors with a modern slim shaker frame, giving a fresh take on a traditional style. Painted in a custom color, it feels light and airy, with natural timber accents adding warmth and charm to the space.
Hidden Storage
Our fitter Marc helped the Spokes create a hidden storage feature at the back of their peninsular. Described as a large open plan space they wanted to add some character to the kitchen when viewing it from the living and dining area. Not only this but wood ties in the the open shelf and adds warmth to the space.
With flat panel doors marc secured wooden slats across so they were perfectly spaced but still able to open the doors with push to open fittings.
Feature Bi-Fold Doors
This feature enhances the character of the space adding something enjoyable while functional to hide away items that typically live on our counter tops. This unit is being utilised as a breakfast area whilst also storing bar items and snacks.
Extractor Unit
This bespoke extractor unit is made to measure so the extractor seamlessly lines up with the units either side creating a clean and fuss free look. Our extractor units include panels to hide the ducting and in turn make for an extra bit of storage.
Storage Solutions
The spokes opted for corner pull outs to access those difficult to reach areas, her daughter has recently got into bakeing so she has her very own pull out shelf with her baking ingredients.
